This half term, children will be looking at place value with numbers up to 10,000,000.  They will also be calculating using knowledge of structures.

Please help your child at home by making sure they are secure with all their times tables.  They should be able to use these to mentally derive related number facts.

e.g:

9 x 8 = 72

90 x 80 = 7,200

720/90 = 8

0.8 x 9 = 7.2
