Teachers: Mrs Hoyland and Mrs Kausar 

Year 5

The Y5 class teacher is Mrs Hoyland and the Teaching Assistant is Mrs Kausar. On Wednesday afternoons, the class will be taught by Mr Dawson.

PE is currently on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Children need to wear their PE kits to school on these days. Acceptable PE kit includes black, grey or navy bottoms (leggings, joggers or shorts) and a white t-shirt. They should wear their school shoes and bring their PE trainers with them to change into. We are doing football and basketball this term, so appropriate kit is essential. The children will not being going swimming this half term. We will let you know when this changes.

HOMEWORK - Homework is given out every Friday and expected back into school by the following Thursday. Children will also have weekly spellings to practice, and we would love you to continue reading regularly with the your children, and practicing times tables (even if they think they know them all!) including division facts.
