Literacy

This half term we are starting by looking at the Hindu fesitval Holi using the book The Night before Holi. We will learn about the different ways people celebrate the festival and compare the similarities and differences between the festivals we have already learnt about.

We will them move on to our main topic of transport. Our first key book is Dig Dig Digging where our focus will be on verbs. We will then move on to the Along a Long Road which we use to focus on positional language. 

Finally, we will finish the term by learning about the Muslim festival Eid.
